Easton-Anthony V. Ferreira age 78 years, passed away on Friday December 10th at Southeast Rehab and Skilled Care Center. He is the father of Marie of New Bedford. Mr. Ferreira was the brother of August Ferreira and his wife Doris of Wareham, Alice Ferreira of New Bedford, Libania "Bonny" Bala and her husband Victor of Fairhaven, John Ferreira and his wife Sharon of Arizona and Elaine de Oliveira of New Bedford, He was pre-Deceased by brothers Frank Ferreira, Lionel Ferreira and a sister Rose Spencer.
Mr. Ferreira was a son the late Mary (Estrella) and Antone V. Ferreira. He was born in New Bedford, and lived in this most of his life. Anthony was Fish Cutter at various seafood plants, orderly at Taunton State Hospital and drove the Senior Citizen Bus. Mr. Ferreira was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Ferreira funeral at his request will be Private. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday evening from 5-8 P.M. Arrangements are by Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
