Platzeck, Janice Merle (Casebier), 72, originally of Muhlenberg, County, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at her home. She was a Baptist by faith, retired from TARC as the superintendant of safety and training, and was a school bus driver for JCPS.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Verna Casebier; brothers, Rondell and Bobby Casebier; and son-in-law, Tim Rawls.
Survivors include her children, Larry Sheffield(Michelle), Regina Harder (Steve), and Amy Rawls; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Lane Casebier and Mike Casebier (Ruth); sisters, Beleta Powell (Butch) and Sue Gravios; and sisters-in-law, Sharon and Joyce Casebier.
Funeral service will be 5pm Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be Sunday 11-5 and will continue after the service until 8pm at the funeral home.
