
Rita F. (Henry) Peterson, 85, of Franklin and formerly of Framingham died December 8 in the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Peterson who died in 1989.
Born in Framingham, November 2, 1925, the daughter of the late William and Rose (Loughlin) Henry, Mrs. Peterson had lived in Framingham until she moved to Franklin five years.
Mrs. Peterson had been a supervisor of security for Prime Computers in Framingham for 10 years before her retirement.
Rita loved to play BINGO.
She is survived by her son John Peterson and his wife Linda of Bellingham and her daughter Lynn Peterson of New Jersey.
She is also survived by her sister Irene Huddleson of Ashland.
She was the sister of the late Mary Mucha and Mary “Mammi” Henry.
Rita is also survived by her grandchildren, Jenna, Rose, Thomas and Tara and 6 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Framingham
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.
