Benedict A. Knasas age 89 of Canton, formerly of Quincy passed away at the Milton Hospital December 9th. Born and raised in Quincy, he graduated from Quincy High School. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. He was an Assembly Worker for Russ Electric in Hingham for many years. He has lived in Canton since 1996 and previously lived in Quincy. Beloved husband of Dorothy V. (Pursey). Father of Robert B. Knasas & his wife Marie of Norwell & Joanne K. Pretti & her husband Brian of Canton. Grandfather of Melanie Knasas of Norfolk, Kimberly Knasas of Norwell, Brian G. Pretti, Jr. of N.C., Matthew G. Pretti of Lawrence & Katherine E. Pretti of New York. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Monday morning at 10:30. Interment VA National Cemetery, Bourne Monday at 2:30 pm. Army Veteran WW II.
