Cassidy and her husband Steve of Westborough; Charles T., William E. and James M. Morgan all of Brockton; Robert A. Morgan and his wife Maureen of Stoughton; Margaret “Margo” Tibbetts and her husband William of Tewksbury and Thomas J. Morgan of New York City; five grandchildren Brendan Cassidy, Ryan and Benjamin Morgan, and Liam and Mary Tibbetts.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Obituary Information
Mr. Morgan died Monday morning at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of failing health. He was born in South Portland, Maine, son of the late John and Katherine I. (Mullen) Morgan, and had been a resident of Brockton since 1960. He was a former science teacher at West Bridgewater High School, previously he taught at Middleboro High School. When he retired he was the chemist for the Abington-Rockland Water Department. Mr. Morgan was a Korean War veteran, serving in the US Army. He enjoyed reading, and video taping sporting events for Brockton High School. He was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
He is survived by his wife Patricia M. (Joyce) Morgan, his children and grandchildren as above
