Derry, NH- Albert J. “Duke” Duquette, 76, a longtime resident of Methuen, died Saturday December 4th at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH surrounded by his family.
Born in Fishkill, NY on March 9th 1934, Albert was the son of Albert J. and Elsie (Van Tassel) Duquette.
For more than 30 years Albert worked as a calibrator for Raytheon. He also did upholstery work and was a firefighter in New York prior to moving to Methuen.
Albert was a life member of the NRA and the Methuen Rod and Gun Club. He loved to build model airplanes and liked fishing. He was a lover of country music and enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica for his family. He was a family man and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The widower of the late Albertine (Beliveau) Duquette, Albert is survived by his three sons, Steven Duquette and his wife Cindy of Sandown, NH, David Duquette of Derry and Paul Duquette, also of Derry. He will also be missed by 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4-8PM on Tuesday December 7th at the Kenneth H Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday morning at 10AM at the Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
