ALTAVILLA- Of Lynnfield, formerly of Chelsea, suddenly, December 20th, Antonio N. "Tony". Devoted husband of Clementine "Mindy" Altavilla. Beloved father of Donna Altavilla-DeMarco and her husband Donald of Lynnfield and Janis Breslin and her husband George of Wilmington. Brother of Mary Dixon of Londonderry, New Hampshire and the late James Fantasia, Carmello Fantasia, Pat Fantasia, Sonny Fantasia and Theresa Borrazzo. Cherished grandfather of Kristen and Ryan Breslin. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, December 23rd at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, CHELSEA at 9 o'click. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with Entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Retired 32 years employee of Catalano Trucking retiring in 1985, former member of the Chelsea Loyal Order of Moose and Chelsea Knights of Columbus Council #83. Active member of St. Rose Parish serving for many years as Usher and Altar Server. United States Army Veteran of World War II. Expressions of sympathy in Tony's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
