Trowbridge, Carlos Bernell, 76, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a member of Joyner’s Chapel Church and attended Hillview Baptist Church. Bernell was an Army veteran serving at Panama Canal, a member of James F. Keel Lodge in Center, Kentucky, and retired from Corhart Refractories.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, JoAnne Trowbridge; parents, Lucian and Lucy Trowbridge; sister, Euberta Johnson; and brother-in-law, Travis Johnson.
Survivors include his children, Pamela Anne Turner (Dirk) and Tammie Sue Collins (Richard); grandchildren, David Turner (Elizabeth), Aaron Turner (Emily), Tiffany and Kristen Collins; brothers, Dalton Trowbridge (Sheila) and Randall Trowbridge (Sue); sister, Janus Francher (Donnie); and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday at Hillview Baptist Church, 5319 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Thursday 11-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Friday from 9 until the service at Hillview Baptist Church.
