Hudson, MA & Cape Cod
Pasquale “Pat” F. Ferro, 81, of Hudson and Cape Cod, died Monday, Nov. 29th on Cape Cod. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley A. (Jenkins) Ferro in 2007.
He was born and raised in Marlboro, son of the late Angelo and Antoinette (Cardellicchio) Ferro. He was a graduate of Marlboro High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952 when he was honorably discharged. He attended East Coast Aerotech. He was employed as an Aeronautical Technician and Metal Fabricator by Draper Laboratory/MIT for 27 years. In 1952, he moved to Hudson and resided there until 1991 when he moved to the Cape after retirement. He was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program on the Cape over the past few years and was a member of the New Horizon Band on the Cape.
Mr. Ferro is survived by his son, Steven Ferro and his wife Diane of Hudson; his sister, Yolanda “Nikki” Gangai of Florida and his two grandchildren, Alexander Ferro of Hudson and Christina Ferro and her son Nicholas of Natick. He was the brother of the late Gelsomena (Nina) Ferro.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon followed by a funeral service on Friday, Dec. 3rd at 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
