Viveiros of Brockton December 19, 2003 Helen B. (Chapman) Viveiros 89 years. Wife of the late Tony Viveiros. Mother of the late Alice Henderson. Grandmother of Helene O’Hearn of E. Wareham, Kenneth and Michael Henderson both of Plymouth. Great grandmother of four. Mother-in-law of Robert Henderson of Quincy.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Colman Church at 9 am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater. Visitation Monday 8-8:30 am. Please omit flowers. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Alzheimers Association 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140.

Obituary

Mrs. Viveiros died Friday morning at the Braintree Landing Skilled Nursing Center after a period of failing health.She was born in Brockton daughter of the late George A. and Mary (McDonald) Chapman and had been a lifelong resident of the city.She had been employed in the office of American Shoe Shank Company in Avon for many years.Mrs. Viveiros had been a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Manor in Brockton and enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing.She had been a long time communicant of St. Colman Church where she had taught CCD and volunteered at Bingo.

In addition to the above survivors she leaves a brother and 3 sisters Francis Chapman of Hingham; Beverly Dentch of Carver; Georgina Dickinson of Easton and Leah Johnson of So. Easton.Also many nieces and nephewsShe was the mother of the late Alice Henderson and sister of the late Herbert Chapman and Marion Dentch
