Francis, Linda B, 71, peacefully passed on with family members by her side, November 29, 2010 at Suburban Hospital. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 31 years James D Francis.
She was retired from the accounting department at General Electric after 26 years of service and was a graduate of the Finance Management Program.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family which includes her children, Vicki B Hardy (Joe), and Charles R Booth II; her step-children: Lori Elliott (David), Lisa Ryan, and David Francis (Clarena); grandchildren; Sean Hardy, John Graham Hardy, Lisa Marie Booth, 16 step-grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was the former Linda Lee Martin, beloved daughter of John F Martin and Gladys Martin of Waddy KY. She was a member of the Waddy Baptist Church. She graduated from Georgetown University Cume Laude.
Her funeral will be held at 10am Saturday December 4 2010 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery on Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be Friday December 3, 2010 from 2pm-8pm at Owen Funeral home in Jeffersontown. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
