Alberta Mae Atherton, 84 passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She was the former Alberta Mae Satterly, a retired manicurist for many years and a member of the Jeffersontown Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Douglas Atherton. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Carroll Atherton; children, Rick Atherton and Mary Atherton Twohey (Tom); sister, Betty Jean Hammond; grandchildren, Amanda Joy Langford (Craig), Eric Brenorden Atherton (Stephanie), Carolyn Mae Dean (Jeff), Kevin Gregory Ernspiker, Matthew Douglas Atherton (Sara) and Kristi Ann Atherton; and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation 2-8 P.M., Wednesday. Burial will be held in Jeffersontown Cemetery.
