Virginia Apice, 89, of Old Pocasset Lane in Johnston, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Thomas) Apice.
Miss Apice was a bookkeeper for Bowerman Brothers in Providence before retiring. She retired to Seminole, Florida where she resided for thirty five years before moving back to Johnston. She was a member of Women in Construction.
She is survived by her sister of Marie Apice of Johnston and she was the sister of the late Flora Broley.
Her funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, December 6th at 11:00am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Monday 10:00 - 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
