Obituary

Paul R. Wilson, 87, died peacefully November 29 at River Bend in South Natick. He was the husband of Lenore (Beers) Wilson.
Born in Boston, October 18, 1923, the son of the late Harold and Jessie (Thomson) Wilson, Mr. Wilson was raised in Hyde Park and had lived in Medway since 1949.
Mr. Wilson studied at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts.
Mr. Wilson had been a dairy farmer in Medway for 50 years.
He had served the Town of Medway on many government boards. He had been a deacon at the Community Church of Medway and was a member of the Charles River Lodge of Mason.
Mr. Wilson served in Army during World War II, attaining the rank of Corporal.
In addition to his, wife he is survived by his children, Lee Wilson and his wife Kitty of Fort Ann, New York, Nancy DeVita and her husband Gary of Medway, Barbara Maffeo and her husband Stephen of Medway and Mark Wilson of Sag Harbor, New York.
He is also survived by his brother, David and his wife Donna Wilson of Lexington and five grandchildren and five nieces.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4 in the Community Church of Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Following the service a gathering of his family and friends will be held in the Church Hall to celebrate Paul’s life.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
