Obituary

John J. “Jack” O’Hare 91, of Wellesley and formerly of Natick and Framingham died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at his home.

He was the beloved husband for 66 years of Elizabeth “Bette” E. (LaCroix) O’Hare.

A Natick resident for 40 years, he was born in New York City the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Cummins) O’Hare.

Mr. O’Hare was the Co-Owner of Truck Center Inc. of Boston for 35 years retiring in 1991.

Throughout his life he enjoyed and had great appreciation for music, theater, the arts, reading and history. He traveled extensively with his wife Bette, and each year made a trip in the fall to England.

He was a former member of the St Patrick’s’ Holy Name Society and Drum and Bugle Corps.

Mr. O’Hare attended Manhattan Collge in New York , was a Major in the United States Army serving in WWII.

In addition to his wife he is survived by six children Carol A. Davis and her husband William Guss of Arlington, Judith R.Vogel of Leominster, Jacqueline F. O’Hare of Weymouth, Caryn E. Scarcella and her husband Angelo of Needham, Linda J. O’Hare of Santa Barbara, CA, Kevin J. O’Hare and his wife Sherry Baker of Framingham, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Raymond J. O’Hare Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 6:00P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common.

Visiting hours are Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service.
