Josephine M. (Guidi) Thomas 98 of Natick, formerly of Springfield, passed away Wednesday November 24, 2010 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.
She was the wife of the late James M. Thomas. She is survived by three children, James L. Thomas and his wife Jane of Bellingham, William F. Thomas and his wife Patricia of Sherborn, Maureen C. Thomas of Franklin.
Josephine was the grandmother of an attentive and caring granddaughter Deanna Thomas. In addition to Deanna, Josephine leaves 11 more loving grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Throughout her life she was known to be a kind and thoughtful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother to her family. Up until recent months, Josephine enjoyed a vibrant, independent, and inclusive life among her family and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral Mass in celebration of Josephine’s life will take place on Monday at 10:00 A.M. in St Patrick’s Church, followed by burial in St Patrick Cemetery.
Visiting hours in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common are Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
