Obituary

Edward G. Noonan, 75 years, of Brockton, died November 25, 2010 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton he was the son of the late Gregory F. and Eileen M. (Doherty) Noonan. Edward served in the Air Force; had been employed by various shoe manufacturing companies in Brockton and in 1999 retired from his company, Ed’s Cleaning Service. He was a member of the Protectors Club and the Polish White Eagles Club and was an avid New England Sports fan.

He is survived by five sons, Donald and his wife Kathleen of S. Easton, Edward Jr. of Berkley, Michael and his companion Michelle Mencarini of Melbourne, FL, John and his wife Kathleen of Revere and Brian and his wife Margaret of Brockton; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters Dorothy Morton and Kathleen Schultz; two brothers Lawrence Noonan and Robert Noonan, several nieces and nephews and his former wife Clara M. (LaPointe) Doucette and his long time companion Nancy Amaru. He was the brother of the late Raymond, Richard, Roger and Joseph Noonan and Linda Scully.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, Tuesday 5-8pm.
A Graveside service will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
