Obituary

Domenic J. “Danny” Bramante, age 74, of Medford, died Thursday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Marguerite (Pericotti) Bramante with whom he shared more than 53 years of marriage. Mr. Bramante was born in Boston. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Tripolina (Condelli) Bramante. He was raised and educated in Boston’s West End and moved to Medford in 1957. Danny was a commercial fisherman. He was one of the youngest fishing boat captains and part of one of the oldest family owned commercial fishing businesses in New England, which spans more than 110 years. He later worked in the fish brokerage business until his retirement.
Most important to him were his family, especially his grandchildren, and his extended family members. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Red Sox and the Boston Celtics. In addition to his wife he was the devoted father of Salvatore Bramante and his wife Janice of New Hampshire, Sandra Bramante Solviletti and her husband Paul of Medford, and Danielle Bramante Centrella and her husband Alessandro of Reading. Loving Grandfather of Crystal, Giana, Paul and Gia. Dear brother of Bernard Bramante of Medford, Salvatore Bramante and his wife Helen of Reading, Frank Bramante and his wife Roberta of Middleton, James Bramante and his wife Phyllis of Stoneham, Peter Bramante and his wife Barbara of Wakefield, Dolores Bramante and her husband Joseph Anoli of Reading, Christine Bramante and her husband Howard Cohen of Wilmington, Connie Ruggiero of Medford, Celia Lodi of Reading, and the late Olympia Sharpe, Mary Marchesini, and Rose Interrante. He also leaves several loving nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3-8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
