Fernando A. Silveira, 92, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at Copley at Stoughton on Wednesday, November 24. He was the husband of Luisa T. (Teixeira) Silveira. Born and raised in Flores, Azores, Portugal, he was a resident of Stoughton for over 30 years. Mr. Silveira was a custodian for Cumberland Farms for many years before retiring 30 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Silveira is survived by his grandchildren, Monica Trabusana and Joseph Trabusana and his wife Kerry. He was the father of the late Maria Alice Trabusana and Maria Luiz Silveira. He was the brother of Pedro Silveira and Maria Laurenco both of CA and the great-grandfather of Evan and Aidan Trabusana.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, November 29 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
