Obituary

Mr. William M. Anzaldi, Jr., age 64, died November 19, 2010 at the Winchester Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Richmond, VA, Bill has been a North Reading resident for the past few years. He was formerly of Mattapoisett. He was the devoted son of the late Nancy (LaCourt) & William M. Anzaldi.
Bill was raised and educated in Reading. After he graduated, he worked alongside his father for a few years in a family owned plumbing and heating company. He spent several years managing several popular Boston bars, including Fathers I & II. He was a partner in the Shrewsbury Racquetball Club. In the following years his career revolved around sales and sales management. He owned a paper supply store New Bedford and a promotional sales company is Bedford, NH. Most recently he continued his career in sales focusing on paper products and promotional items.
Bill's passion was trap shooting. He served as the state delegate for over 20 years, was club president of the Minute Man Sportsman Club of Burlington, and was most recently honored by being elected president of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA). His skills on the field rewarded him with countless trophies, awards, and records, yet his greatest enjoyment came from teaching others his passion of shooting, especially to the youth who also had the desire to shoot trap. Another highlight was the time he spent travelling and teaching with Kay Ohye, one of the country’s premier trap shooters.
When not shooting, Bill enjoyed spending time with this late wife and three children. They all enjoyed traveling, frequenting the Caribbean in the winter time, skiing over the holidays, and most recently their family vacation to Italy. He also enjoyed a friendly game of tennis or pool. And who could forget his love for enjoying a nice glass of wine.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, CeeCee (Maki) Anzaldi of North Reading, and the late Cathleen (Buchanan) Anzaldi. Devoted father of Danielle Anzaldi Roca and her husband Caleb of Medford, Paige Elizabeth Anzaldi of Greenville, TN and Blair Ashley Anzaldi of Medford. Brother of Lucille Largy. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
