Fisk of Scituate, William S. “Bill”, 89, at home November 18. Beloved husband of Althea (Dyment) Fisk, father of Suzanne Wirt of Duxbury and FL, Pamela Dockendorff and her husband David of Scituate, Nancy Russell and her husband John of Boca Raton, and the late Robert D. Fisk. Grandfather of David Jr, Richard, and Robert Dockendorff, Kimberly Blazie, Tamara Huber, and Kristin Dame. William also leaves 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
William was born in Barton, VT and attended Montpelier schools. He severed in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. Was a member of Cohassett Post 118 American Legion, the Scituate VFW, and Satuit Lodge AF&AM. Bill worked for New England Steel Tank Co as a foreman doing steel fabricating a former employee of American Antenna Systems and DS Kennedy Co. He enjoyed fishing and boating and spending time with his family.
A graveside service will be held at Groveland Cemetery Mannlot Rd in Scituate on Saturday November 27, at 11:00 AM. There are no visiting hours and in lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Scituate Etrusco, 1 Common St Scituate, MA 02066 or the Norwell VNA and Hospice, 91 Longwater Cir.
