Jean M. Arpin

...of Windsor, NH formerly of Tewksbury; 73

WINDSOR, NH - Jean Maureen (Chartier) Arpin, age 73, died Saturday, November 20, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a five month battle with Colitis. She was the wife of the late Armand W. Arpin who died in 1978. She was born in Lowell, MA on April 15, 1937, a daughter of the late Joseph V. and Marie J. (Poirier) Chartier. She was raised in Tewksbury where she resided for the greater part of her life before moving to Windsor, NH twenty years ago.

She graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School and devoted her life to her family as a mother of three and a "mom" to many others.

She is survived by her longtime companion Douglas Welch of Windsor, NH, a son; Steven Arpin and his longtime companion Heather Mandeville of Tyngsboro, MA, a daughter; Cherie Trujillo and her companion Dan Biel of Hillsborough, NH, her siblings and their spouses; Rose E. Caisse of Lowell, MA, Margarite "Margie" Arpin of NH, Gerard Chartier and his wife Dot of TN, Victor "Sonny" Chartier and his wife Carol of NH, Eva "Dolly" Giguere and her husband Bob of TN, Jeannette "Tootsie" Sarmento and her husband Paul of N. Chelmsford, eight grandchildren; Gerard Arpin, Tanya McCullough, Kate Arpin, Michael Arpin, Jerrica Taylor, Brittany Taylor, Breanna Taylor, Kara Mandeville; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Gerard Arpin who died in 1979 and the sister of the late Lord Paul Chartier, William Chartier, Shirley Carr, and Rita "Jackie" Ashe.

Her Memorial Service was held Saturday, November 27, in the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the Development / Public Affairs Office, Attn: Cancer Care Endowment Fund, Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854 are appreciated.
