William E. Joyce, 66 years, of Brockton, formerly of Quincy, died November 19, 2010 following a brief illness. Born, raised and educated in Quincy, he was the son of the late John T. and Jennie V. (Chiavaroli) Joyce. During Vietnam, he served with the United States Navy Seabees. For over 30 years, he had been employed by Playtime Amusement Company, traveling throughout the United States. Most recently he had been employ by Yellow Cab Company of Brockton. Bill was known for his great sense of humor; was a member of the American Legion Morrisette Post 294 of Quincy and was an avid fan of NASCAR racing.
He is survived by two brothers John “Sonny” and his wife Dorothy of Randolph, Richard of Quincy, two sisters Barbara and Joanne Joyce both of Bridgewater and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
