Reid Vollenweider, 42, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 19, 2003 at Oakland Cemetery, Waycross, Georgia, with Rev. Howard E. Lipford officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Friday at Music Funeral Home, Waycross, Georgia.
Mr. Vollenweider was born September 19, 1961, in Waycross, Georgia, where he lived most of his life before moving to Irwin County about a year ago. He was a graduate of Ware County High School, a graduate of Waycross Junior College and Valdosta State College with a degree in accounting. Mr. Vollenweider was the former owner/operator of W.R. Tax and Finance Company in Waycross. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Waycross.
Mr. Vollenweider is survived by one daughter: Haylee Vollenweider, Manor, GA; special friend: Lori Eason, Waycross; parents: Walter R. and Shirley Dill Vollenweider, Irwin County, GA; one sister and brother-in-law: Leslie and Bill Hodges, Macon; two nephews: Mack and Josh Hodges, Macon.
