William J. “Bill” Galvin, 76 of Medford, died Friday at home after a long illness.
Born in Cambridge, he lived in Medford and formerly of Tewksbury. He was the son of the late Nora (Barrett) and Daniel Galvin.
William was an Animal Care Taker with Arthur D. Little for 34 years and retired 13 years ago.
Devoted father of William J. Galvin Jr. and his wife Diane of Texas, Mary Galvin, Daniel Galvin and his wife Nancy all of Medford, Rosie Renfro and her husband Larry, Linda Paolera and her husband Tom all of Andover, Dorothy Larffarello and her husband John of Wilmington, Lisa Leary and her husband Paul of Stoughton. Also survived by 16 loving grandchildren. Brother of the late Eileen Joyce.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
