Obituary

Andover, MA – Joseph J. Kluck, 85, died Wednesday November 17th at the Wingate at Andover.
Joseph was born in Lowell and was a longtime resident of that city. He was educated in the Lowell schools and was the son of the late John and Sophie (Malinowski) Kluck.
During world war ll Mr. Kluck served his country in the United States Army and was involved in the battles of Normandy, Northern France, and the Rhineland. Upon wars end Joseph received the Good Conduct Medal, The Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon with Bronze Service Arrowhead. Joseph loved the beach, the race track, and was a master gardener who was known for his oversized home grown vegetables.
Josephs family wishes to express their gratitude to Beacon Hospice and the staff of Wingate Nursing Home in Andover for their compassionate care, especially at the end of Joseph’s Life.
Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Cunliffe) Kluck in 2004.
He is survived by one sister Mary A. Palermo of Methuen, 6 nieces and nephews; Mark J. Palermo, Jr., Maryann Gerdnic, Virginia, James, Thomas, Nancy Kluck, and his sister-in-law Pearl Kluck.
Funeral Services will take place on Monday morning at 10:30 A.M. from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Lowell.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
