MARY RUTH (HOUSE) THOMPSON, 82, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010.
She had retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harry Thompson and son, Gary Wayne Hinton.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Lands, Janis Mays, Jimmy Hinton and Brenda Woulfe (Thomas); 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Her service will be 11am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Friday 11am-8pm.
