Robert B. Ware 79, of Franklin, and a former Framingham and Millers Creek, North Carolina resident, died Wednesday November 17, 2010 at his home. He was the husband for 55 years to Patricia S. (Sjoquist) Ware, until her death in 2009.
Born in South St. Paul, Minnesota, May 27, 1931 a son of the late Clifford and Loretta (Gallagher) Ware, he was raised in New York, and was a graduate of Xavier Military Academy in Manhattan. He was the retired president of Ware Associates, an IT consulting firm with offices in Groton, CT and Hudson, MA.
He was a former communicant of St. Bridget Church in Framingham, and a lector, Eucharistic minister, and president of the Men’s Club at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Jefferson, North Carolina. He was a current communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, and was an avid Red Sox fan, & enjoyed cooking.
He is survived by 3 sons; Michael F.X. Ware of Westfield, Timothy W. and Matthew M. Ware of Plano, Texas, 2 daughters; Kathleen M. Brown of Franklin with whom he lived, and Therese A. Feldman of East Lyme, CT. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Christopher P. Ware.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass Monday November 22nd, at 10AM in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin.
Interment will take place on Tuesday at the family lot in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT.
