Walsh, John Henry, 80, passed away at his home, Wednesday November 17, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. John was born in Natick, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Honor Guard stationed at Fort Knox. There he met his future wife and remained in Kentucky after discharged. He graduated from the University of Louisville. His last place of employment was a Courier position, part time at ADP where he met many people and enjoyed those contacts to the fullest.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Marie (Burke) Walsh; children, Chris Walsh (Karen), Connie Strange, Tim and Ken Walsh; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His funeral mass will be Saturday 10 am at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Helen Campus) 4005 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 11am-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Online condolences at owenfuneralhome.com
