Methuen, MA – Rita E. (Beaudette) Fowler, 83 died Sunday at the Holy Family Hospital .
Rita was born in Methuen and was a lifelong resident of this city where she received her education.
For many years Mrs. Fowler was employed at Lawrence Maid as a Shoeworker before her retirement.
Rita was a Communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel/Saint Theresa’s Church in Methuen and a former Communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church before its closing. She enjoyed weekend camping and they became known as Fowlers F Troop. Mrs. Fowler enjoyed afternoons on her swing, and playing Whist and Hearts. She enjoyed every moment with her family.
The widow of Earl C. Fowler Rita is survived by children; Roy and wife Cyndi Fowler, Calvin Fowler, Roger and wife Charlotte Fowler, Gale and husband Larry Roy, Gloria and husband Kevin Fraser, Carl and wife Cathy Fowler, Joseph Fowler, and Cathy and husband Peter Lenane, a brother Charles Beaudette, and sisters, Leda Noel, Theresa Dufresne , Bernadette Beaudette, Irene Harris, Yvonne Roy, Calvin and wife Gloria Karram, 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday morning at 9 o’clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel / St. Theresa’s Church 22 Plymouth Street Methuen, MA
Friends will be warmly received on Thursday from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
