John Nicolosi, 64, of Newton, NH passed away on Friday November 12, 2010 at Exeter Hospital, Exeter, NH. John was born, raised and educated in Sicily, Italy and came to Lawrence, MA at the age of 15. Before retirement, he worked as a layout operator at Lucent Technologies N. Andover. He was an attendant of the healing services with Father Di Orio at St Ann's Shrine in Sturbridge, MA. John enjoyed playing soccer for many years and played with many soccer teams in Greater Lawrence and in the Boston area. John enriched the lives of many family and friends with his love and affection. He will be greatly missed.
He leaves his loving wife of 30 years, Lucia (Arcidiacono) Nicolosi of Newton, NH and his daughters, Diana Nicolosi-Jean and her husband, Derek Jean of Haverhill, MA, Lisa Nicolosi of Beverly, MA , Adele and her husband, Michael Drigotas of Winthrop, MA and his son, John and his wife Tasha Nicolosi of Lawrence, MA. John also leaves his brother, Frank and his wife, Barbara Nicolosi of Scottsdale, AZ and his grandchildren, Ashley, Joey, Angelique and Mya and a great grandson, Aedin and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Roberta Nicolosi , his parents, Alfio and Angela Nicolosi and his sisters, Sr Maria Nicolosi, Virginia Nicolosi and Adeline (Nicolosi) Cardone.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday November 16, 2010 from 4 to 8 pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday November 17 at 9:00 am in St Monica Church, Methuen. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Newton, NH.
