Obituary

WORCESTER-George J. Krasinskas, 88 of 7th Fourth Street, died Saturday, December 13th at home. He leaves his wife of 68 years Gladys E. (Danforth) Krasinskas, 2 sons George J. Krasinskas, Jr. of Grafton and LT Richard Krasinskas of Worcester, a daughter Donna Hartness of Leicester, 3 sisters Ann Taris of Worcester, Isabelle Baker of Sacramento, CA and Rita Kuzdeba of Marlboro, 7 grandchildren, a great granddaughter, 3 great step-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 5 brothers. John, Gustov, Joseph, Edward and Charles, and by 2 sisters Mary Krasinskas and Angelina Denoncour.

He was born in Worcester the son of Kastantas and Mary (Bagmsinskas) Krasinskas. Mr. Krasinskas was a World War 2 Navy Veteran and served 2 years in the Pacific Arena. He was a founding member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, and loved fishing and hunting. Mr. Krasinskas enjoyed studying, reading history and mystery books and winning at cribbage. He was a member of the NRA and a former Boy Scout Leader.

The funeral will be Wednesday, December 17th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 16th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Flowers may be sent; however in celebration of his many donations to a large number of charities, a contribution to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
