Roger L. Kunkel age 77 of Bloomington, Illinois passed away at 4:48am Wednesday Nov. 10, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. He was born Oct. 5, 1933 in Low Point, Illinois to Lee W. and Josephine M. (Baker) Kunkel. He married Mary Ann Schneider Dec. 20, 1959 in Washburn Il. She survives.
Surviving are Roger’s two children Mark R. Kunkel of Bloomington, and Sharon A. Murphy of Las Vegas Nevada. Roger was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Suellyn Heller.
Roger was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was a accountant for Funk Brothers Seed Company in Bloomington retiring in 1985. He attended Minier Christian Church.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30am Saturday Nov. 13, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Rev. Norv Condy officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am until service time at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Linn Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Washburn.
