YORK, Maine — Ida R. (Fortuna) Valenti-Ferrigno, 95, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at the Sentry Hill in York, Maine, just two days away from celebrating her 96th birthday.
Born in Methuen, on Nov. 8, 1914, Ida was the daughter of Joseph and Maria (Ferrucci) Fortuna.
Ida was loved and cherished by her family and will be greatly missed.
The widow of the late John Valenti and then Frank Ferrigno, Ida is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and great-great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen and Anthony Fortuna.
The family would also like to thank all the nurses and staff at Sentry Hill and Beacon Hospice for all the love, care and kindness they showed to Ida and her family. For that, they are eternally grateful.
