Teresa M. (Logue) Ruggieri, of North Reading, formerly of Medford, died peacefully at her home Wednesday morning, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.
Teresa was born and raised in Medford the daughter of the late Ronald and the late Constance (Launie) Logue. A resident of North Reading for many years, Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was a co-founder and owner with her loving husband Tony, of the Happy Haddock Restaurant in Medford. They built the landmark eatery into a favorite spot for families throughout the region.
The beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Ruggieri with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, she also leaves her sons: John Ruggieri and his wife Kathleen of Chelsea, Anthony Ruggieri, Jr and his wife Karen Marie of North Andover. She was a loving grandmother to Tyler Anthony Ruggieri. She was the dear sister of Anthony Logue of Beebe, AR, Constance Rosati of Medford, Patrick Logue of Valley Village, CA. The sister-in-law of Johanne Chiappini and Phyllis Ann Masterson both of Charlotte, NC Teresa also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral procession will gather at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday November 15th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Sunday 3 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
