Mr. Jerry T. Ashmore, Sr., 72, husband of Mrs. Jeanne D. Ashmore, entered into rest on November 8, 2010 at his residence in Flat Rock, North Carolina. He was a native of Augusta, residing in Aiken until retiring to Flat Rock.
Graveside services will be held on November 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta, Georgia, with Dr. Marty Baker officiating.
Mr. Jerry T. Ashmore, Sr. was a member of Lakemont Presbyterian Church. He owned various businesses throughout his life, and Jerry was the former owner of Vic’s Harley Davidson.
Additional survivors include his son Jerry T. Ashmore, Jr. and wife Christia of Augusta, GA; two daughters, Catherine A. Pederson and husband Steen of Atlanta, GA and Lisa A. Maybin and husband Danny of Zirconia, NC; and eleven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
When the family returns to Flat Rock, a memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, Hendersonville, North Carolina on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow afterwards.
