Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial at a later date in Coweeset Cemetery. Obituary Information
Carolyn L. Augenti died Sunday morning at her home following a prolonged struggle with cancer. She was born and raised in Abington and was a graduate of Abington High School, class of 1943. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Laura (Littlefield) Vaslet. She had been a resident of Brockton for the past 58 years. Before her marriage she was employed at FL & JC Codman & Company in Rockland for 17 years. She also worked part time in the catalog sales office at Sears & Roebuck in Brockton. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
She is survived by her husband James A. Augenti, one daughter Laurie Augenti of Manhattan, NY, one son James Augenti of Bridgewater, one grandson and several nieces and nephews
She was the sister of the late Richard Vaslet, Myrtle Cowen, Dorothy Travers and Avis McEachron.
