Ruth Seay Walker, 80, Clarksville, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born March 1, 1930 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Roy Bristol Cobb and Elsie Legate Cobb. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Carlis Seay, Jr. and late husband, James Lee Walker; three brothers, Orman, Cecil, and Eldon Cobb; and two sisters, Emma Lou Chester and Ann Huey. Ruth was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ and was retired from AT&T. Survivors include a son, Ronnie W. Seay (Patricia); a daughter, Deborah Wilson, both of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Tracy Perry, Troy Seay, Steve Wilson, Nick Wilson, and Adam Wilson; and six great-grandchildren. A special friend and farm manager, Bud Leavell, will serve as a pallbearer along with the grandchildren.
