Victor A. Mucci Sr., 86 of Somerville MA, died Saturday after a long illness in the Somerville Hospital Somerville, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Somerville for the past 83 years and was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Cantelmi) Mucci. Mr. Mucci worked at General Motors in Westwood for 30 years in the Receiving and Shipping, Parts Department, retired in 1981 and was a member of the U.A.W.
Beloved husband of Rita (Philbrick). Mucci. Devoted father of Rosemary Hogan of Saugus, Elaine Maher of Middleboro, Victor Mucci Jr. and James Mucci both of Somerville. Loving grandfather of Danielle, Leanne, Keri, and James. Brother of the late Carmen, Roy and Dr. Alfred Mucci.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
