Obituary

THOMPSON, CT - Thomas J. Kilinsky, 71, of the North Grosvenordale section of Thompson, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, after a long illness.

He leaves his former wife and caregiver, Beverly A. Carliell, with whom he lived; a sister, Patricia Davis of Whitinsville, MA; and a niece, Darlene Davis of Thompson.

He was born in Worcester and raised in Webster and Dudley, the son of John and Irene (Katrenak) Kilinsky. He lived in the Webster-Dudley area for most of his life, moving to North Grosvenordale about 5 years ago. He graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Nichols College in Dudley.

Mr. Kilinsky was a certified life underwriter and a special services manager for the American Mortgage Protection Insurance Agency in Wareham, MA, retiring recently because of illness.

He enjoyed fishing, rock collecting and also coin collecting.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Donations in his name may be made to the Day Kimball Hospital Hospice, 320 Pomfret St., Putnam, CT 06260.
