WALTERS, Johnie C., 83, of Floyds Knobs, passed away Friday, November 05, 2010.
He was retired from Brown and Williamson, was an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Valley Masonic Lodge #511.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ova and Willie Walters; first wife, Jane Warmuth Walters; granddaughter, Angel Price; daughter-in-law, Linda Walters and step-son-in-law, Kenny Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Walters; children, Donna Walters King (Charles), Lonnie Walters, and Peggy Walters Taylor (Roger); step-children, Rose Mary Miller, Albert McNear (Jan) and Dorothy Eversoll (Darrell); 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
His service will be 1pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Sunday 1pm-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Valley Masonic Lodge.
