Franklin, Bruce Allen “Bootie”, 74, born in Anderson County, KY passed away November 6, 2010 at Brithaven of South Louisville. He was the owner and operator of B.A. Franklin. Bootie is survived by the love of his life of 32 years, Olivia; children, Jamie Palmer (Chris), Brett Franklin (Liberty), Eddie Powers (Tammy); grandchildren, Cameron and Cody Palmer, Chase Terry, Victoria and Lauren Franklin, and Eddie Powers; brother, David Franklin (Denise); and sister, Doris Sands (Howard). Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Monday 12-8 at the funeral home.
