Obituary

Auburn – James P. Werre, 59, of Auburn died at home on Sunday, October 31st in his home.

Mr. Werre is survived by his mother Beatrice Y. (Dumais) Werre; a brother Edward R. Werre both of Auburn; a sister Patricia A. Titus of Fort Worth, TX and nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester son of the late Edward L. Werre and graduated from the former Worcester Boys Trade High School. James is a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a letter carrier for 24 years at the United States Postal Service retiring in 2007.

Mr. Were was a member of the Auburn / Webster Lodge of Elks #2118, the Auburn Sportsman’s Club and the National Rifle Association.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 9th at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church 189 Oxford St. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements.
