Madolin E. (Peaslee) Fagan, 92, of Mansfield passed away peacefully on Thursday November 4, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent E. Fagan who died on August 10, 2002.
Born in Peterborough, New Hampshire on January 5, 1918 she was a daughter of the late Ebenezer F. and Myrtle (Sloat) Peaslee.
Madolin grew up and was educated in Peterborough. She had made her home in the West Mansfield section of Mansfield for the past 70 years.
A dedicated home homemaker to her loving family, Mrs. Fagan had also worked for over 30 years at Texas Instruments in Attleboro before retiring.
Madolin enjoyed gardening, cooking and the many wonderful winters spent in Vero Beach, Florida with her late husband Vincent. Her family was the focal point of her life and she especially loved the times spent in the presence of her adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted sons Lawrence V. Fagan and his wife Saralyn of Nokomis, Florida, Steven F. Fagan and his wife Joanne of Yarmouthport, Timothy S. Fagan of Mansfield and the late Donald G. Fagan. She was predeceased by her 12 siblings and is also survived by her cherished 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held on Friday November 12th at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial will follow in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
