Eileen D. (O’Neill) Nadeau, age 90, a longtime resident of the Belvidere section of Lowell, died Sunday October 31, 2010 at the Willow Manor Genesis Health Care Center in Lowell following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Nadeau who died in December of 1977.
She was born in Lowell, MA on October 9, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Arthur L.and Margaret (Davlin) O’Neill. She was educated in the Lowell Schools and was a graduate of both Lowell High School and Lowell Commercial College. She also attended Bentley College.
Prior to her retirement, Eileen had been employed for many years by the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA. as an accounting technician. Eileen enjoyed golfing and traveling and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and was also the sister of the late Arthur L. O’Neill Jr. and Sr. Mary Dolores O’Neill.
NADEAU- Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, November 4, from 11:30 until 12:30 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH STREET, (Rte 38) LOWELL followed by her Funeral Mass at 1:00 at the Immaculate Conception Church (Lower Church). Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Arrangements are by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, LOWELL.
