William J. “Bally” Jardin, 83, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, Oct. 30. He was the husband of the late Kathryn M. (McCourt) Jardin and the son of the late Moses and Isabel Jardin. Mr. Jardin was born and educated in Stoughton and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an oil burner service technician for over 54 years working for several companies, most recently Brotherhood Oil of Brockton. He was an avid sports fan and coached for several Stoughton youth teams. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Jardin is survived by his children Kathryn E. Morelli and her husband Richard of Wakefield, W. Scott Jardin of Stoughton and Todd E. Jardin of Hudson. He is survived by his grandchildren Steve Morelli, Brian Morelli and Emma Jardin and also his great-grandson Kyle Morelli. Survived by his siblings : Moses F. Jardin of Sacramento, CA, Anthony and Mary Jardin of Stoughton, Lourdes Silva of CT, Mary and Joseph Cleary of Stoughton, Frank and Betty Jardin of Easton and Isabelle and Robert Murphy of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, November 2 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-9 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Bally’s name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
