Constance J. (Knight) Titus, 76, of Norton formerly of Mansfield passed away in the presence of her loving family on Friday October 29, 2010 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Earl F. Titus, to whom she wed on August 4, 1952.
Born in Mansfield, MA on September 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Grace (Cook) Knight.
Connie grew up in Mansfield and was educated in Mansfield public schools. She had made her home in Norton for the past 48 years.
A dedicated homemaker, Mrs. Titus enjoyed spending time and caring for her family. She loved holiday crafts, gardening and held a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats.
Connie will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills and at the time of her death was anticipating the birth of her thirteenth great grandchild.
In addition to her beloved husband of 58 years, she is survived by her devoted children Donna L. Paul and her husband Thomas of Attleboro, Dana L. Titus and his wife Suzanne of North Attleboro, Darlene L. Paulhus and her husband Paul of Norton and Danny L. Titus and his companion Sherry of Taunton. The sister of Priscilla White of Mansfield and the late Evelyn Sharpe, Edith Masse, Martin “Joe” Knight and Arthur Knight, Mrs. Titus is also survived by her loving 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 3rd at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home in Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
