FALL RIVER… Toni L. Edwards was born July 18, 1970 in Holyoke, MA. She was the daughter of Bruce Edwards of Fall River and the late Dianne (Tatum) Edwards, and the mother of Troy Edwards. Toni attended Durfee High School. Toni was known for her big heart, which lead her to be compassionate toward people less fortunate. She would seek food and shelter for the homeless, often asking her family and friends to help.
Before becoming ill, Toni was a vibrant and funny person who was happy, and who loved to laugh. Her outgoing personality would light up a room and her family and friends fed off her energy. She loved music and loved to dance. If you heard the television show The Price is Right being played loudly, you knew that Toni was nearby.
Most of all Toni was a people person, with her family being the people she loved the most. She found her son Troy to be the real purpose of her life.
Her survivors include her father Bruce Edwards, her son: Troy Edwards of Fall River, 3 Brothers: Bruce J. Edwards Jr., Tyronne J. Edwards, Michael J. Edwards, all of Fall River, a Sister: Stephanie “Nikkie” Edwards of Fall River, and the 3 nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 11AM from the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Monday 9-11am.
