
Salem: Leona Lee (Ouellette) Pelletier, age 62 of Salem, died suddenly Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Salem. She was the wife of the late Vincent C. Pelletier.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Beatrice M. (Clement) Ouellette. A graduate of Salem High Class of 65, Lee first worked in a clerical capacity for Health and Education Services on Federal St., Salem. She later worked for Cambridge Associates and for Joel Green Chiropractor. She was currently employed as office manager for the newly renamed Salem Chiropractic Center.
Lee had a wonderful, wry sense of humor which she was only too willing to share with others. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. As hobbies, Lee collected Teddy Bears, and loved knitting and crocheting for family members and friends.
She is survived by 2 sons, Kevin B. Pelletier and his wife Cynthia, Scott E. Pelletier and his wife Wendy Burge, a daughter, Julie A. Pelletier all of Salem. 2 brothers, Richard D. Ouellette and his wife Anne of Jupiter, FL, Robert J. Ouellette and his wife Michaeline LaRoche of Salem, a sister, Janice J. Michaud of Salem, 3 grandchildren, Kayla, Tyler & Genevieve all of Salem a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Thomas & Joan Pelletier as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem, on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m. to be followed by her funeral service in the funeral home at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
