TEWKSBURY - Olive Louise (Sidebottom) Todd, age 97, an active member of Tewksbury's Senior community, died Thursday evening, October 28, at Lowell General Hospital, following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Walter L. Todd, who died in November, 1971.
She was born in Revere, February 8, 1913, a daughter of the late James and Bernice (Pratt) Sidebottom. She was raised in Revere and Stoughton, but lived in Medford until moving to Tewksbury in 1953.
In her earlier years, she volunteered for Camp Fire Girls Inc. for over 25 years.
As an active member of the senior community, she frequented the Senior Center with Bingo on Tuesday, Crafts on Wednesday, was a member of the Golden Age Club, a member of the Carnation Bells Red Hat Society, and was featured in two "pin-up" photos of the Carnation Bells calendar, published in 2006 and 2007.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marjorie Moulaison and her husband Paul, with whom she resided in Tewksbury, Geraldine Stanton of Bluffton, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, James J. Todd and his wife Donna (Orpik) of Laconia, NH; two sisters, Bernice Hagg of Billerica, Ruth Jenkins of Brewster,MA; a sister-in-law, Norma Sidebottom of Stoughton; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Alfred Sidebottom, and John "Jack" Sidebottom.
Her Funeral Service was held Sunday, Oct. 31, in the funeral home.
Following cremation, burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Memorials to the Brian P.
